Rochdale is a town and a Metropolitan borough, in Greater Manchester in North West England with a population of 93,400.

Geography

The town of Rochdale is located at 53°37'00" North, 02°09'00" West (53.6167, -2.1500)1.

Rochdale was also a make of car [1]. The firm took its name from the town and produced kit cars.

Rochdale was also a center of the 1960s-70s youth counter culture in Toronto, Canada. It was an eighteen-story building, originally a college dormitory associated with the University of Toronto. It was closed down by police in 1975 because of a long history of alleged illegal drug usage and free sex.
