Crossosomatales

The Crossosomatales are an order of flowering plants, included within the rosid subgroup of dicotyledons. The following three families are placed here:

  • Family Crossosomataceae
  • Family Stachyuraceae
  • Family Staphyleaceae

Under the older Cronquist system these are placed in the Rosales, Violales, and Sapindales, respectively. In addition there are four genera, each placed within its own family, that may belong here. These are Aphloia, Geissoloma, Ixerba, and Strasburgeria.
