Image:WalesClwyd.png

Clwyd is a ceremonial county of Wales, formed from the traditional counties of Denbighshire and Flintshire, and parts of Merionethshire. From 1974 until 1994, it was also an administrative county. It was divided into six boroughs:

  • Alyn and Deeside
  • Colwyn
  • Delyn
  • Glyndwr
  • Rhuddlan
  • Wrexham

Clwyd is now split into the unitary authorities of Flintshire, Denbighshire, and parts of Conwy and Powys.
