Carol Gilligan

Carol Gilligan is an American feminist ethicist best known for her work with Lawrence Kohlberg on ethical community and ethical relationships, and certain subject-object problems in ethics.

She has proposed that many Psychological and Sociological studies may be biased in that the participants were largely male.

She also has proposed that socializing boys in the exact same way as girls will result in less crimes against women and less discrimination against women.

Critics of her theories socializing boys in the same way as girls discriminates against boys since girls will never be socialized the same way as boys.
