The John W. Campbell Memorial Award for the Best New Writer in Science Fiction is awarded annually by the World Science Fiction Society. It is awarded to the best new science fiction or fantasy writer whose first work of science fiction or fantasy appearing in a professional publication (defined as 10,000 or more copies) was published in the previous two years.Recipients
