Borknagar
Borknagar is a Black Metal Band from Bergen, Norway.The music can be categorized as Viking Metal or Melodic Black Metal. Borknagar was founded in 1995 by Oystein G. Brun.
The lyrics deal with philosophy, pagan beliefs, nature and about the cosmos.
The band is untypical for Black Metal, because they don´t try to be evil in any way. The don´t use corpsepainting, blood, weapons etc. for pictures and lyrics free of satanism or anti-christianity.
The Name "Borknagar" doens´t mean anything.
