Argumentum ad nauseam

Argumentum ad nauseam or argument from repetition is the false conception that a statement is likely to be true if it has been repeated over and over many times, possibly by different people. This logical fallacy is commonly used as a form of rhetoric by politicans. In its extreme form, it is also attributed as a type of brainwashing. This logical fallacy tends to be convincing to people because, as Joseph Goebbels discovered, if something is repeated to be true enough times, people will eventually come to accept it as only natural.
